He served as an Advisor at the Ministry of Energy, where he led the localization of the renewable energy sector and drafted national policies and strategies for energy mix, green hydrogen, and energy storage. Hea has collaborated on consulting projects with top-tier firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, and Strategy&. As the Business Development Director at Vision Industries (a sister company of AcwaPower), he managed an investment portfolio with international partners. His educational background includes Executive Strategy Program at Oxford Saïd Business School, and he holds a PhD in Technology and Innovation Management as well as an MBA from Doshisha University, Japan.
With over four decades of experience in asset and portfolio management, private equity, IPO advisory, M&A, transaction assurance, and fund development, Mr. Sultan currently serves as a senior financial advisor to numerous regional investment funds and UHNW private offices in the GCC and MENA regions. He has held key executive positions in global financial institutions, including roles as ME Regional Director at Credit Suisse, Senior VP at Orbitex Investment Group, and ME VP at Bechmann Springs. Mr. Sultan has been advisor to GAM Investments, Terranex, Daman Investments, Towry Law International Limited. His extensive experience spans multiple sectors, including oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, insurance, real estate, and healthcare. He has successfully managed assets and private equity worth over $3.5 billion. Mr. Sultan holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hull University, UK.
